Molokai General Hospital

MGH is a critical access hospital part of the Queen’s Health System with a 6-bed ED and 6-bed inpatient unit and is the sole acute facility on the island. Annual volume is 5,500 patients. Shifts are 24-hours and single coverage. The hospital provides daytime tele-hospitalist, wound care, physical therapy, and midwife services. On most days, at least 1 patient will require air ambulance transfer for specialty care. The ED physician covers inpatient calls overnight. EMR is Epic.
