Paige Lovett, PA-C
Paige is an emergency medicine physician assistant who grew up in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. She attended the University of Miami, graduating in three years with a BS in Biology, minors in Chemistry and Spanish. After studying abroad and volunteering in Central and South America, she lived in Rhode Island and worked as an EMT and smoothie maker on Bowen’s Wharf in Newport between college and PA school. Paige moved to Arizona to attend PA school at Midwestern University. When she did her pediatrics rotation in Hilo, she fell in love with the Big Island. Paige’s first year of practice was in outpatient neurology and psychiatry in Yuma, Arizona, on the borders of AZ, California and Mexico. She moved to Hilo in the fall of 2013, working in pediatrics and physiatry for 2 years before spending 3 months on Midway Atoll as the remote medicine PA for biologists and contractors on the island. On Midway, she met the president of HEPA during the annual albatross bird count…and asked for a job.
