William Scruggs, MD
Dr. Will Scruggs grew up in Portland, Oregon. He joined HEPA in 2006 after completing his emergency medicine residency and emergency ultrasound fellowship at UC Irvine. Dr. Scruggs has served as Chief of Staff of Adventist Health Castle and Medical Director of the AHC Emergency Department, and holds a position on the AHC Community Board. He has twice been the President of the Hawaii Chapter of the American College of Emergency Physicians and works as HEPA’s Oahu scheduler, Legislative Director. He lives in Kailua with his wife and son where he coaches baseball, rides the trails, tries to surf, and plays guitar with whomever is willing to put up with him.
